Blue Dog Rescue
Blue Dog Rescue is a voluteer organization that takes in adoptable dogs from Austin area shelters and places them in appropriate, permanent homes. Each dog receives a health exam, heartworm test and preventative, vaccinations, and is spayed or neutered. Dogs stay in a foster home a minimum of seven days to assess their individual needs and to allow for adjustment to life out of a shelter environment. Approved adopted homes are based on the needs of the dog. An adoption fee of $125 for adult dogs, or $150 for puppies is charged to help with the cost of care received. BUDDY Buddy is a one and a half year old male, Black Mouth Cur (like old yeller) Mix. Buddy Boy is everyone’s friend. This laidback fella just loves to hang out with you wherever you are. He does still have his playful, goofy moments where he likes to drag his toys (or whatever else he finds) around the yard. He is sweet and gets along with all types of dogs. His favorite toy is a stuffed yellow ducky that he carries around.
