Blue Dog Rescue
Blue Dog Rescue is a voluteer organization that takes in adoptable dogs from Austin area shelters and places them in appropriate, permanent homes. Each dog receives a health exam, heartworm test and preventative, vaccinations, and is spayed or neutered. Dogs stay in a foster home a minimum of seven days to assess their individual needs and to allow for adjustment to life out of a shelter environment. Approved adopted homes are based on the needs of the dog. An adoption fee of $125 for adult dogs, or $150 for puppies is charged to help with the cost of care received.
