Forgotten Friends Rescue
Forgotten Friends Rescue is a group of individuals who take healthy, adoptable dogs out of Austin area shelters and place them into caring homes. Each dog receives a health exam, heartworm test and preventative, vaccinations, and is spayed or neutered. Dogs will spend a period of adjustment time with a foster family until they are ready to be placed in an appropriate home. Adopted homes are chosen based on the individual needs of the dog. An adoption fee of $100 for adult dogs, $125 for puppies, and $150 for purebred adults is collected to help with the cost of care received.
