PAWS of Austin
PAWS (Protections for Animal Welfare Services) of Austin in a non-profit animal rescue organization, established in Austin for the purpose of helping animals by providing refuge to stray and unwanted companion animals. PAWS has breed expertise in Miniature Pinschers and Great Danes. PAWS of Austin is dedicated to bettering the quality of life of homeless animals in the Austin area. We rescue homeless and unwanted dogs from the city shelter and throughout the Austin area and focus on finding them new permanent, loving homes. PAWS also concentrates on promoting public awareness regarding animal welfare issues, pet health care, and most importantly, the necessity of spaying and neutering. We visit local schools, churches, and civic organizations in an effort to educate the public about what they can do to help the nationwide epidemic of pet overpopulation. If you are interested in adopting any of the dogs listed or would like more information, please contact them at pawsofaustin@yahoo.com.
