Texas Lab Rescue
Southeast Texas Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer organization
made up of caring individuals that wish to make a difference in the life
of homeless and unwanted Labrador Retrievers.
The Lab's in STLRR's program come from various shelters around the Houston
area where they would have otherwise been euthanized due to continuous
overpopulation at local shelters. We are a not-for-profit organization
that formed in September of 2002 with only 3 dedicated individuals at the
wheel. S.T.L.R.R. does not have a kennel facility to house the dogs in
our program. We rely solely on our foster homes and base the number of
dogs in our program on how many foster homes we have available. Unfortunately,
being one of the top breeds in the United States, shelters are always overflowing
with both Pure Bred Labrador Retrievers as well as Labrador Retriever mixes,
so unfortunately there is no way that we will ever be able to rescue them
all, but we do our very best for those that we can save. If you are interested
in adopting any of the dogs listed or would like more information, please
contact them through the website above. If you have any questions regarding
the training being done on these dogs, please contact Jessy at jgabriel@triplecrowndogs.com.
